The Musician is a rhythm game where you can enjoy dozens of songs from several different genres, some of them instrumental and some of them not. Your aim is to get the best possible score in each one of them. To do that you've got to tap the screen in time with the music, trying to be as precise as possible.
The gameplay in The Musician is standard for the genre: the notes fall from the top of the screen and you've got to tap them at just the right time once they make it to the bottom. Some of the notes last several beats, on others you have to slide quickly in one direction, and on still others just tap them quickly.
From the main menu in The Musician you can download the songs you want to play. Plus you can enjoy a sort of 'campaign mode' in which you advance, level by level, down a path of songs. To unlock the next levels you'll need a minimum number of stars, which you get with good scores on your performances.
The Musician is an excellent music game offering more than enough content to play for hours. Plus you can find songs to play no matter what your level: there are really difficult ones, but also really accessible ones for any player.
